There's a lot of it going on...!

Letters have been sent off today; then she discovered that many other people have been discussing the very same idea; that is, building a new royal yacht for Her Majesty.  The costing has been estimated at 80m. and designs and drawings drawn up, and governmental people are looking into the various schemes.

"From what she's read, it's that vexing question of raising donations from interested parties.  Not the tax payer as such, but people seem to be concerned that because of the difficult economic situation we're presently in, it's the thought that you and me won't want to assist financially in any way, or even, at all?

"Well, yes" she's thinking, perhaps some folk might not want t,o or be able to, "but surely, some folk will.  Some concerned, diehard, enthusiastic Monarchists will want to do something, even if it's only a relatively minor sum like £5.00 per head per adult UK citizen!">

"Won't we want to do our bit?" she asks.

"Stand together, for something we believe in, and be apart of something larger than ourselves".

"A something else, apart from every day day worries and problems; and something that will raise us up and out of the normal course of events, propelling us into a new dimension and a new awareness of ourselves and part of a much bigger adventure and enterprise".

"Something worthy of and for a new century; this 21st century we are in right now".

"Something for the future which we can instigate today and run forward with it in its entirety, until its completion.  That particular thing called endeavour, pride, inclusion and involvement?".

She thinks its called life and here we are, hoping to be able to become part of our future lives, and it starts right here and now.

"And she for one wants to sign up on the dotted line and become involved in this bright new future endeavour - even if she can only ever play a tiny, miniscule fraction of a part".

"For however small a part it is that we play, no-one will ever be able to take that away from us, that tiny involvement, our inclusion in a project to do something for our Queen, country and future!".
