Well, this must be a quick post tonight for it's late, she's had a busy day and she wanted to read more of her present book at bedtime - Wait for Me by Deborah Devonshire - which she is thoroughly enjoying.

She's read many of the books about The Mitford Girls, as they were called and Deborah Devonshire is the last of the particular family line.  Her books are very good.

Today has been  good and finally she feels she's beginning to get over that annoying tummy bug which laid her so low over the end of last week and the weekend.

The morning was full of chores and hair washing - urrgh! - but then she had her first reflexology session which was totally brilliant, and she can't wait for her next session!

Then a cosy hour playing with Dora's baby, who's enchanting, followed by a large mug of tea in front of the television.

Then to the kitchen to make a chicken risotto for tonight's supper followed by two of the favourite Sunday night programmes of the  winter;  the midwife's story and dear old Lewis.  Bliss!!
