that's life!

Daisy still thinks her idea was good but, just possibly, her timing was not so good.  But a good idea is still a good idea and perhaps at another time, more people will agree and take it up!  Time will tell???

In the meantime, Daisy has many other projects in hand, such as family history, her poetry and writings, and photography and mostly not quite enough time for all!

The prospect of a long, dry summer, is causing her a few anxious moments, especially about having to wash out empty jars, tins and other food containers, before they can be deposited in recycling bins.  Surely, the machinery used in the whole process reaches a sufficient temperature to destroy all germs and nasty messes, without the need for any prewashing?   If we have to lessen our water usag,e such washing out of containers ought to be abandoned immediatedly; perhaps just for now or possibly for the future.
